Plain summary. We keep your email and the details you type about your book so we can produce and deliver your order. If you send a manuscript we use it only to make your images and delete it when your order is delivered. We don't sell your data, we don't track you across the web, and we never ask for your KDP login.

We do not collect anything from Amazon. We do not read your listing, your sales data, your reviews, or your KDP account. Every detail we use is one you typed or uploaded.

2. What we do with it

We use your data to produce your order, to review it for quality before delivery, to send you the files, to handle a revision or refund, and to keep records we are legally required to keep. That's all. We do not use your manuscript or your book to train any machine-learning model.

3. How long we keep it

4. Who else sees it

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We share it only with the suppliers needed to run the service:

We may also disclose data if the law requires it. Your manuscript is never shared with any of these beyond the hosting that stores it, and is never republished or resold.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google a record of the pages you view, your approximate location (from your IP address), and basic device information.

Nothing analytics-related loads until you agree. On your first visit you are asked. If you decline, or simply ignore the request, the Google Analytics script is never downloaded and no analytics cookie is ever set — the site works identically either way. You can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings in the footer of any page.

When it is enabled we ask Google to anonymise your IP address and we switch off advertising features, so this data is not used to build an advertising profile of you. Google's own handling of it is described in their privacy policy.

Beyond this we embed no third-party trackers, social widgets, advertising pixels, or externally hosted web fonts. The only cookie the site itself stores is a note of the choice you made above, so we stop asking.

6. Where your data is held

This website is served by Google Firebase Hosting, whose origin is in the United States. The server that builds your files is a DigitalOcean droplet in Bangalore, India. Wherever you are, your book details and any file you upload are transferred to both in order to provide the service you asked for.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. Email support@kdpundit.com and we will respond within 2 business days. Deleting an in-progress order means we cannot complete it, and we will refund it.

Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, or to complain to your local data protection authority. Residents of the EU and UK, and of several US states, have these rights under their own law; write to us first and we will help you exercise them.

8. Security

Files are held on access-controlled servers and transferred over encrypted connections. Access is limited to the people who review orders. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send us anything you would not be willing to email — and never send us a password.

9. Children

This service is for authors and publishers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes affecting how we handle existing orders will be emailed to affected customers.

11. Contact
